PHILANTRHOPIC PROGRAM "Avenir Quarter Horse"
The Quebec Quarter Horse Association is a non-profit association that has been in existence for more than 50 years and brings together hundreds of breeders, competitors and lovers of Quarter Horse horses. Our members proudly represent the association in competitions in Quebec of course, but also in Ontario and throughout the United States.
The association's board of directors is launching a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $100,000 by the end of October 2024.
Thanks to your donations, the association will be able to organize its two main annual events: the Fleur de lys circuit, held at the end of June at the facilities of the Richelieu agricultural society in Sorel, as well as the president's circuit presented at the Bécancour equestrian complex at the end of July.
Organizing these competitions represents a logistical but above all financial challenge because, in addition to the rental of our sites, the costs linked to the hiring of our officials are considerable. In addition, the association will dedicate part of the sums raised to support amateur athletes in both our youth and adult categories.
This donation program is under the supervision of Sports Québec, an organization authorized to issue tax receipts. Donations of $25 or more therefore qualify for a charitable donation tax receipt.
